Adaptive/Competitive Rowing, Men PR2:60 or over – 9.45.3

World/U.S. Rowing Indoor National Championships, 2011, 2012, & 2020

“In 1982, the World Indoor Rowing Championship, formerly known as the C.R.A.S.H.-B.’s (Charles River All-Star Has-Beens), was started in Boston, Massachusetts. This annual rowing competition has close to 60 categories allowing able-bodied as well as disabled individuals to compete in their appropriate category that meets their physical criteria. For a competing disabled individual this would be known as para-rowing, where the equipment is adapted to the individual rower to practice the sport, rather than the sport being adapted to the individual rower (CRASH-B’s, 2018).”
